imo social and body dysphoria aren’t so much innate as they are socially learned behaviors. We learn from our society what is expected of the physical forms of men and women.
These standards not even being something cis people can match, it’s even more frustrating for trans people who have gone through the wrong puberty. Which is most of us.
We learn to hate ourselves for the same reasons cis men and women do, but we have it more intensely because our conception of who we are is so thoroughly invalidated until we can reach that impossible standard.
If we were to live in a society that did not cast these profound one-dimensional standards across all of life and instead saw the unique beauty in every person, then I would bet that dysphoria would disappear.
