Good End: Hiveswap rakes in a new wave of Homestucks, top tier youtubers and streamers end up playing it, Hot Topic starts carrying Hiveswap merch, the 5 years of development he were worth it and Homestuck is relevant again

Bad End: Hiveswap is endlessly compared to Undertale, one or two youtubers do a single episode of it before finding the plot too confusing as an entry level fandom to continue, nobody bothers with the actual source material and everyone judges it as a stand-alone video game universe

True End: Nobody but ex-Homestuck fans bother to play the game. People start hounding Hussie for Act 2 three days after it’s released. Act 2 is abandoned when Act 1 fails to sell enough copies to fund it. Homestuck is fucking dead and we are the sinners left to rot in the ashes. We cannot crawl back to the top because The Odd Gentlemen have poured cement over our graves.
