Are we really going to celebrate the death of this man solely because he was a cop like I get it the police are bad but this sounds pretty bonkers to me if I’m being honest

“If we just got rid of X group all our problems would be solved” you think you are so different, just like everyone else filling in that X does. Think things through, you’ll see that the problem is bad ideologies not arbitrary groups of people.

who enforces the “bad ideologies” that you mention? cops. that’s why cops are bad, they are not “arbitrary”, cops are a vital part of upholding capitalism/white supremacy/etc. that’s why cops are bad and deserve to die.

I do hold this belief that everyone is a human…even my enemies. Not disconnecting yourself from your enemies makes you aware that you are perfectly capable of the same evil.

Humanizing police and racists shouldn’t be to justify them or go easy on them, but to remind us that one day, we could be in that position, and we should strive to be better.
