Working as a police officer is something you do. Its not who you intrinsically are. It’s just a job. You are not “blue.” You are a human being donning a uniform every day for a paycheck. This “I am blue” and “blue racism” bullshit is the worst form of identity politics I’ve ever seen. Get over yourselves, you whiny, entitled welfare hogs.
Those people protect civilians at the cost of their lives. They protect the ones saying they should kick the bucket already. They have random objects throw at them protecting everyone. They deserve more, and they have a right to be whiny. Yes, some cops are too violent and should be fired or punished immediately.

I said in my post yes cops can sometimes be bad. In my opinion, they should be hired in small areas. That way, when they mess up we can fire them.

Who’s “we” here? The chief? The pig union? Bastard cops don’t get fired. You get fired for insubordination (saying to a superior officer “hey that thing you told me to do is illegal” counts), but not for fucking murder, sexual assault, and any of the other forms of terror cops regularly enact.
It’s their job to stop us from holding the ruling class accountable for the things they do to us. That’s always been their job. They were invented to police slums and to beat up crowds of people who get too rowdy.
