For all the wonderful non-binary trans folks<3
gendercool: when you’re not a boy or a girl and you’re not entirely sure what your gender is but man you are cool
• have short hair
• use they pronouns or neopronouns
• wear gender-neutral clothing
• be thin
• choose a gender-neutral name
• change their name at all
• come out, to anyone, ever, if they don’t want to
• explain their gender experience if they don’t want to
• stick to more “general”, “easily remembered” labels if they don’t suit them (yes, you can make up your own; your comfort matters most & ur not hurting the community)
• be positive of their gender label, when they first claim a nb identity or any other time at all
• use the label “nonbinary” if they’re a part of a non-western culture
• be pale or lightskinned
• meet anyone’s “nonbinary enough” standards
• know that i love them but it would be nice if they did
shoutout to nonbinary people who cant correct people on your pronouns
shoutout to nonbinary people who get called girl/guy on the daily but dont know what to do about it shoutout to nonbinary people who feel ashamed or fake because of their identity
shoutout to nonbinary people who never plan on coming out to anyone except for some friends because its easier on you
other people forcing a label onto you does not make you any less nonbinary and you do not need to be out to be valid
I hope every nonbinary person is having a good day today. and if they’re not, I really hope it gets better
This is for all the non-binary aros and aces, the agender, bigender, demigender, tri, poly, flux, fluid genders and any other non-binary genders.
Non-binary aros and aces are wonderful and valid.
I’m here for all the people that don’t feel anything when it comes to gender.
The people that aren’t repulsed by their bodies, but sometimes aren’t comfortable in them.
The people that don’t know what having a gender feels like.
You’re not alone. I feel this too.
- you can wear any clothes you want! if it makes you comfortable, you wear it! you’re most likely rockin’ it!!!
- you can bind, or not! boobies dont make you not nonbinary!! theyre just boobies!!
- you can wear loose or tight clothing!!! your body doesn’t make you any less nonbinary!!
- you can wear makeup or not! makeup doesn’t change how rad of an nb person you are!!!
- you can wear whatever colors you want!! blue doesn’t equal boy and pink doesn’t equal girl!!!!
- you can use gendered pronouns if you want to!! doesn’t effect how nb you are!!!!!
- you can use they/them!! its even in the dictionary now!! it can be used for one person!!!
- sometimes people aren’t going to understand, and sometimes people can be mean. that doesn’t make you’re nbness less real!!!
- you can wear your hair however you like! long, short, in the middle…any way you like it! it doesn’t mess with your nbness!!!
- you can strive to ‘pass’, or you can strive to not! whatever you do, you’re still nb!!
- you can go by any name you want!!! your name doesn’t change that you’re nb and how awesome that is!!!!!!!
i hope you have a wonderful day and everyone is respectful to you and your gender identity. all my fellow nonbinary pals, please know that you have a haven within yourself! you know you’re nb, not confused or going throuhg a phase. and even if you were! thats okay too! gender is a spectrum and almost always fluxuating!! try to be kind with yourself and allow change if need be!!! its tough, but i know we can all do it ヽ/❀o ل͜ o\ノ
I’ve noticed a lot of younger nonbinary people following me so I’m going to take a moment to say this:
• your gender is real
• your gender is valid and good
• how you express your gender is valid and good
• your pronouns are valid and good
• you are not “too young” to understand your gender
• you are not “just going through a phase”
• you’re all awesome to be exploring your gender at your age; I wish I had been able to do the same
• have a good day!you don’t have to be nb to reblog this, btw! anyone is welcome to indirectly send some support to nonbinary youth 0:
