i think the cool thing about art is that u can start from drawing whatever tf u want and still work ur way up to getting better while also doing it the way ur most comfortable with

a Thing i learned along this Art Road is that it’s completely okay to draw and learn ur own way even if some ppl may say like “oooh don’t draw the anime!!! its bad!!” or idk “dont shade with black” basically “don’t draw this way” there’s no wrong way to Art, if anime is ur style then keep doing it until u want to try a dif style, there’s also art styles out there that shade w/ black

i mean i’m not saying there aren’t methods and paths to take that will speed up the learning process, there’s plenty of resources to help! my point is that everything that is art is subjective and the ppl doing the art are all different and all have their own ways and their own opinions on doing things and sometimes the way u learn won’t always line up with the ways of others 

keep ur passion and determination, it’s okay to learn ur own way and decide what the best course of action is when it comes to traversing art hell
