vava-chan-take-over-the-world:
Last year’s summer, my girl @moki-art and I elaborated a Revolution AU, but unfortunately, we didn’t do much with it after, but you know with homestuck ending and all off that we wanted to make this a thing I guess?
Anyways, in this au, the trolls were the first inhabitant of earth, the humans were vaguely aware of them, but the technology they had wasn’t developed enough for them to to communicate with them. There were legends, myths and religions about them, every children knew this one:
“Long ago, 11 trolls of different blood cast discovered a planet, a much more habitable planet with a fauna that wasn’t as deadly as theirs, where the sun didn’t fry your eyeballs as rapidly as theirs and where it didn’t rain acid. Those 11 trolls were fucking sick of the unfairness of their system and decided to get the fuck out of here like bye bitch see ya we’re off to create a new society were people aren’t treated like shit lol, also we stole an entire part of your population as well as your ships lmfao the Empress was super salty over this and was all like find those motherglubber immediately and cull those stealing whores. It took time, a lot of it (centuries perhaps) but she did find them there was a strife, a really big one, and the stars having already guessed the issue of it had taken the shape of each of the heroes’s sign as well as the Empress’s because damn, she is scary"
Alternian was learned in school as a dead language, and there was a time of history where countries had it as their official language but that was long ago.
The 12 trolls I talked about aren’t the ancestors as they arrived before, humans existed (they’re the ancestors’s ancestors’s ancestors’s, etc.), and like even if the existence of the planet earth has been known for centuries, the idea of the idea of using Earth as a military base only came with the Condesce (the revolution and the adults getting banned did happen btw). They quickly conquered the Earth and enslaved the population, they learned of astrological sign and were amused by it, there was a period where those who had their sign represented would choose to keep humans of that sign if they wanted it was like a game (except for the lowbloods, their status were the same as the humans) then it became a common thing for humans to work in ships, if the tradition of only keeping humans of the same sign on board began to fade on common ships, for the Imperial ones, it had to be respected and of course only the “elites” of humans could go on them.
btw canon birthdays aren’t respected here sorry
