and if you spend time in any one of these, or were raised in them, or survived them, and criticize capitalism, you can’t because your first-hand experience makes you unobjective.

hm it’s allmost as if capitalism is to the 21st century what god was to the medieval period, and economists, bourgeois academics and other technocrats are the 21st century’s priestly class interpreting charts rather than scripture to determine who can be saved and who’s condemned to eternal hell.

whataboutism is a thought-terminating cliche the vulgate use to dismiss anything they didn’t know or want to know which might destabilize their poorly-constructed worldview. it’s a base yowl by someone trying to democratize their ignorance.
