disclaimer: this post is fine. i’m not coming for op. i’m just seeing a lot of posts lately about how transmisogynists/transmisogynistic feminists who target trans women based on arbitrary appearance markers end up indirectly harming cis women and like, that’s obviously bad but. whenever i see posts about how [hate group] is bad because they actually indirectly harm [oppressor class] too!! i always wonder, if they didn’t how many of y’all would still care? how many of you hate twefs because they’re cruel to everyone but wouldn’t bat an eye if they were only cruel to trans women?

like the fact that transmisogynists’ body policing also harms cis women who don’t satisfy euro-patriarchal standards of womanhood is a good point but it shouldn’t really be *the* point yknow
