I wish people would stop saying “billionaire philanthropy is a PR scan because Jeff Bezos only donated .05% of his fortune” and look at the bigger picture, even billionaires who donate a lot are not doing what you think they’re doing with the money. The reason they don’t just end world poverty and hunger, which they could easily do several times, is because they are reliant on it. Without these issues people would not have an incentive to do cheap, unsafe labor, and billion dollar corporations would lose a lot of money. They know very well that the less money have, the less choices you have, and the easier you are to exploit for profit.

So it’s not individual billionaires being worse, they’re all like that. Follow the money. There are no “good billionaires”.
