If holocaust survivors say, “more people should have fought the nazis instead of talking to them,” and if the fascists themselves, upon achieving power, said, “thank goodness the social-democrats were foolish enough to try talking to us instead of fighting,” then you should reevaluate any ideas you have, when it comes to having a dialogue with the alt-right.

Consider these quotes, now.

You don’t reason with fascism, you don’t reach across the aisle to it, you don’t debate it, and you don’t exchange points about our common humanity. You smash it. Fascism is to be FOUGHT, not reasoned with.

Fascism is capitalism’s most desperate, last-ditch effort to protect itself–both from its own internal contradictions, and also from its victims, who begin to organize as these contradictions accelerate. As such, there is no possibility of negotiating with it. Its goal is the eradication of class consciousness and workers’ organizations, and its foot soldiers are trained with propaganda that forbid any compromise or reasoning. By its very nature, fascism will not be reasoned with; it aims at our destruction and enslavement. As such, it must be met with whatever means will stop it.

So yeah, punching nazis is good.
