I mean, I agree, but I’ve seen half a dozen posts lamenting the fact that he didn’t go to jail for price gouging aids drugs and all of them seem to be missing the fact that price gouging aids patients is technically legal

They can’t send him to jail for morally reprehensible actions if those morally reprehensible actions are fully legal

we’re not missing the fact. were saying the legal system is morally bankrupt. no one is under the impression the us legal system exists to protect the marginalized. thats why the jokes exist in the first place.

its not an omittance caused by ignorance it’s an implication we’re all aware of and feel no need to mention because it’s so prominant.
