drag as an art form has the capacity to be transphobic (like any art) but drag itself isn’t inherently transphobic. big name queens (cough ru paul cough) being transphobes doesn’t mean all drag queens are inherently transphobes.
drag has a long history of being important for trans women (especially black trans women) as well as being important for fluid and nonbinary dmab people and gnc gay men. it has it’s problems, just like any art form, but you can’t simply dismiss it as “transphobic” just because ru paul is a dickhead.
