You’re right, up to a point.

There really is no modern word in English for the love of Manliness. None exists.

So I took the ancient word “eros” and expanded its meaning.

Eros is the love of Manliness - which is the love of fighting, the love of a trained and conditioned body and most importantly the love of the Moral Virtues which include Humility, Integrity, Selflessness, Self Control and always showing Respect. Fighting produces and nurtures Manliness, with all its attributes.
