Aside from casually perpetuating the myth that skins = nazis, Puckett’s spot-on here.

Okay I have to tell a related story:

I write for a metal website, and the content of racists in metal is small but significant.  About a decade ago there was a concerted movement to push out Nazis, and a lot of websites were banning them.  We decided not to, to be a dedicated free speech zone and allow people to express whatever beliefs or ideologies they wanted.  We became kind of a haven for Nazis, because we were one of the few places where they were allowed.

We ended up having to push them out anyway, because they were impossible to deal with.  Everything became about Nazism, every day, all the time, they would invade and crap all over threads about other things, fight with everyone, and basically make it all about them.  It became impossible to keep them in line, and so we ended up having to just ban them all anyway.

Remember that people do not become Nazis because they are thoughtful, well-adjusted people.  Remember that they are all hateful, fucked-up people with major issues with identity and authority.  They can’t express their ideas quietly, they can’t play fair, or be part of a rational discussion, it’s not in them.  If they were not Nazis, they would have just become some other kind of wretch.
