No, they have reasonable wages

I’ve actually had to explain what a tip is to waitresses before. They thought it was change and kept trying to give it back to us.

I tipped a waiter in Berlin for a glass of water when I was suffering severe dehydration. On my way out I heard the wait staff laughing about the 5 euro coin I left on the table.
