I hate what capitalism does to art. I can’t count the amount of times i’ve heard someone come back from art school feeling WORSE not because drawings were bad, but because they weren’t profitable. non profitable = not good.
THAT is what “learning” is now and it’s why i’m staying clear of commercializing my own art related stuff. it just drains you and it doesn’t feel natural
also modern art was a CIA psyop to discredit soviet classical works
this is one of those things that sounds like a joke but is true
