- yesterday they were house raids on activists who allegedly participated in the g20 protests in hamburg in july

- a neighbour, pissed off by the massive community repression at the summit, was sentenced to three years of prison for throwing a stone on police in the heat of the moment. no one was hurt.

- no illegal items were found in any of the raids, things like generic black shirts, spray cans and rope were presented as “evidence”

- nine of the raids were conducted against members of the public service trade union ver.di

- police admitted that the raids were an intimidation tactic

- police are calling on journalists to hand over unreleased video material and pictures to identify protesters

- they are threatening to confiscate material “if reliable”

- police are using facial recognition programs and announced that they will start a public manhunt for radicals, including investigation posters

If you want to check if people you know are on it, please use TOR - the cops have a history of tracking who goes on these sites. If you recognize someone, tell them (discreetly) in person. Don’t use anything that can be spied on for the communication, it can get the person arrested. Alerta!
