“what about russia/china/etc” is such a common anti-bds argument from people who are otherwise quite lefty and it’s like… do y’all seriously not see a difference between honoring an organized boycott movement with clearly outlined goals that addresses a specific context and “i’m not playing in israel because it’s bad but other human rights offenders are ok”? the cultural boycott is a method promoted by palestinian activists to address the specific nature of israeli apartheid and human rights violations, it’s not the end all be all of global political activism please use your brain and stop aligning yourself with racists
