My name is Rune, I am in my early 20s, and I love games, anime, Pokemon, drawing, good tunes, and anything joyful! Due to my poor health, I rarely get to go out and see anyone. Since I cannot leave my home by myself, I spend most of my days completely alone, and it can be hard to imagine a world outside of my own room. I probably will never be able to see most of it.

That is where you come in! I want a letter in my mailbox, from you! You can write about your interests, your dreams, your hobbies, your anything. You can draw a sailboat and nothing else. You can tell me everything about your life. I just want some physical proof that there are other people out there to give me comfort when things get tough. I want something to prove to myself that the messages I read on a screen are from real people. And if possible, I would like to know about you, too.

My birthday is in a month, and it might be one of my last. There are a lot of things that I want, but mostly, I would like a lot of letters. I want to know about all the different types of people in the world, all of the different lives in the world, and about all the people that knew I existed, no matter to what extent. I will not be able to reply to them or write back because daily life is tough, but every single one of them brings me joy.

If you are writing holiday cards this season, would you send me an extra one? Anything you celebrate! I would love to hear all about your traditions! Anyone can send me a letter. Friends, strangers, friends of friends, friends of strangers – I want to know about as many people as I can. Growing up my dream was to travel the world and meet all sorts of people in person, but that is not possible anymore.
