If I see one more of those kinds of things as “”“"evidence”“”“ that a celebrity/youtuber/that-shy-boy-in-your-class isn’t straight I’m going to scream, because 1) please allow boys and men platonic affection this is the entire problem and 2) yeah maybe they are but if you’re right that’s just called outing someone and isn’t cool

I think in general we really need to just let people define their relationships for themselves, and believe them when they tell us.

So, don’t force a romantic interpretation on guys who say their relationship is platonic, or pretend like you know better because they’re so obviously in love, they should just admit it!

And by the same token, don’t pull out the “let boys be affectionate uwu” card if they say “yeah we’re totally gay, we thought it was obvious” (this is a BIG problem for wlw).

Like stop with the gossipy speculating bullshit and just talk to people, for god’s sake.
