me: imagines a scenario in which Peter Griffin deflects a powerful attack aimed at Sora when he’s vulnerable. Sora stutters, “P-Peter?” shocked to find his old friend. Peter then reassures Sora that he’ll take care of things here and tells him to venture forward and defeat the foe ahead. Enemy reinforcements show up as Sora Donald and Goofy go on ahead. The doors close behind Peter as he seemingly fights against overwhelming odds, leaving us, the player to assume his heroic sacrifice, an instrumental version of Utada Hikaru’s Simple and Clean plays as the climax of the game and final boss.
