It’s more…it’s more like going back and…and starting over. Maybe repeating some, some words.

Bonus tip: this is ESPECIALLY true in thoughts. Thoughts are a lot more fluid than speech because there’s no physical barrier to get past when they form into words.

I’ve never realized how true this is. THANK YOU SO MUCH. 

As a somone who stutters my word flow would sound more like this if I were to get stuck on that sentence

It’s more…it’s more… like.. like…. it’s more like…… urg it’s MORE li……..*long pause as I think about what I need to say in my head, and take a deep breath* it’s more like going back and starting over. Maybe repeating some words.

So there’s many different types of people who studder!! Don’t be afraid to research and ask!
