i’d probably be more likely to go to bat for someone who was uncomfortable with kin doubles than someone who derives social capital and entertainment from mocking other people’s weird but ultimately harmless coping mechanisms

all that’s required is that, when you see something you consider embarrassing that someone who is kin says, have some god damned empathy for 5 fucking seconds and just walk away from this very real person who you’re about to try tearing down publicly for a meaningless number on a post which has filled the void where your self-esteem used to be
