Hi, I’m Jewish. I think that the man who hugged the white supremacist is a hero. He actually tried to engage him in dialogue and risked his life to do so. For all you know, that guy could have gone home and hung up his white robe for good that night.

And even if the guy doesn’t change his ways, being hugged by a black man probably enraged him to no end. That’s a small victory.

How quickly people conveniently forget that those members go about their day jobs as lawyers, bankers, police officers, politicians, and business owners. Like they aren’t a small minority but are operating part of a state.
