we really need to do better when it comes to representation or whatever bc “the creator of this show is trans!!!!!” doesn’t mean jack shit if they’re racist. “one of the main characters is nonwhite!” is useless when that character is reduced to a stereotype or used as the Token Poc Of Color. this isn’t even a harsh critique, it’s literally just requesting that shows that claim to be progressive and diverse have basic respect for the groups they’re “representing”
