just a thought: social justice has been corrupted by capitalism and can now be sold as a commodity and worse off be faked to improve social standing amoung oppressed groups to make sales

Capitalism “serves the interests” of social justice when it’s profitable, and even then they only do it where the public eye can see it. For example, corporations raising wages at home are still paying people a dollar an hour overseas.

Capitalists have also funded oppressive dictators and death squads specifically to suppress social justice advocates when it threatens their profits.

Any “social justice” you see from capitalism is hiding something. It’s not genuine or caring.

Capitalism also gives corporations an incentive to water down existing social justice movements discretely while still looking progressive. For example, putting the responsibility of environmental protection on individual consumers through falsely marketed “green” products, thus turning the focus away from massive corporations responsible for the majority of the polluting.
