Not every authority tho - not qualified authority, only assumed authority. Qualified authority comes from knowledge and/or skill and is perfectly valid (and the real meaning of the word) - assumed authority comes from force and as such isn’t valid (and is some orwellian BS)

To cut down on confusion I call the former “expertise” and the latter “authority”.

expertise is “usain bolt can run faster than you”, authority is “usain bolt can tell you how to run and shoot you if you don’t obey”
