if you’re an ML who says shit like “anarchists should be tolerated but once they undermine the state they should be imprisoned” then i automatically don’t trust you

like for one, it ignores material conditions of what the state would look like post-revoluton and if there even is one, so it could end up being that your idyllic leninist landscape doesn’t even exist, or it could be a brutal dystopic hellscape that any decent person would want to rebel against

for two, saying that anarchists should exist and do projects that lead to the withering of the state but also saying we need to be eradicated for advocating overthrow of the state means you actively impede communism. the state won’t just wither away, people have to tear it down, so once it gets obsolete, it won’t go away by itself. once anarchist projects under an ML society manage to achieve full communism, we’ll by default be undermining the state. that’s an actively reactionary stance to take.

for three, i work with MLs daily. we both believe communism to be an ideal end goal for society. neither of us really give a fuck about how it’s achieved. we have different praxis, yes, but their ideal society is still a communist one. they don’t care whether communism is achieved through leninism or through anarchism, they just wanna see it happen (and i’m kinda the same way). so if you’re not like that, and you want to uphold leninism more than you want to achieve communism, then you’re inherently reactionary and you’re the type of person who ends up becoming an informant. i’m not kidding. i’ve seen it happen. that’s why i don’t trust you.
