I know people on here talk about how awful it is that teenagers on here are finding all kinds of new words and ways to express their sexuality and gender and how this website is poisoning them or w/e, but like, you know what I had when I was that age? A fucking 10,000′s page long Gaia Online “Yaoi” hangout thread and Yahoo chatrooms and occasionally I would see a trans person mocked on Jerry Springer.
I would have killed for a community like this with other young people figuring things out. Let the kids experiment. Don’t let them hurt themselves or each other and for sure don’t let adults manipulate them, but let them have their community.
