with the technology in iphones and the fact they use cheap sweatshop labor there’s at least a 200% profit on those things. 

you could build a high end computer for less money than an iphone. it’s ridiculous. smart phones are extremely good things but they really are price gouging 

This is why I love competition in the market. Ultimately I don’t think Apple can sustain this model. Electronics prices are falling on average but theirs are going up and their competitors are offering similar technologies. They can’t live off their brand forever.

what competitors? samsung? that’s the only major one I can think of.

most tech companies do the exact same thing and use sweatshop labor in the same areas. they also overprice products compared to their cost to be made.

this is like…the entire tech industry. no matter how better they seem, they’re willing to fuck over the environment, underpay and exploit people, steal resources, etc.

competition really doesn’t eliminate any of these unnecessary and harmful practices…
