it’s so wild to me that people really think “without capitalism how will we advance” as if like the majority of human history didn’t exist without capitalism. Like people will always try and improve their surroundings even if there’s no monetary rewards??? because?? that’s what we do LMFAO? like literally every where all over ancient africa people were perfecting various arts from agriculture to textile work to leather working to medicine and philosophy not because they wanted money but literally because they wanted to make their environment comfortable and more livable. Literally, every society starts off doing that and it really doesnt make sense act as if people didn’t have to work that we would all just fall to pieces and stop making shit and advancing. If anything we would be able to advance FASTER because the minds being held back and killed because they can’t afford to eat or go to school or medical care would be able to unleash this potential. And even those who can’t contribute at that level or at all would be taken care of as they should be. Like this idea that you HAVE to work to live and we HAVE to work to advance is just like…wrong historically wrong. Working and creating arent the same thing.
