I know this show isn’t for me and kids don’t typically care about art styles, but can I say I did not expect the magic school bus reboot looks like this

why does it look like a doll divine dress up game and not even one of the good ones

THAT COMMERCIAL FOR ABC MOUSE OR WHATEVER IT IS

I wouldn’t even mind so much about the lazy animation style (although amount of sameface going on with those kids is kinda creepy), but what really bothers me is how much lighter-skinned they’ve made all the characters of color.

Seriously, look at the original cast of kids:

And then compare it to that picture up there. It’s really hard not to notice how much lighter everyone is, Keesha and Tim and Carlos specifically. Even allowing for the different animation style, it’s a really blatant difference and it bothers the heck out of me.
