Misgendering/deadnaming a trans person because you don’t like them as a person is extremely transphobic. Even if your reason for not liking them has nothing to do with them being trans. You are saying to all trans people that our genders are a privilege to be given or taken away, and that you don’t respect any of us; you are only choosing to humor us on the condition that we don’t cross you.
