Okay, so, here’s the write-up I promised y’all. CW for all of the slurs and general Nazi bullshit.
The long and short of it is that world-famous fist magnet Richard Spencer, the man who has won renown throughout all of Christendom for his tendency to start giant city-wide fights wherever he goes and hilariously lose them, is booking speaking time thru the National Policy Institute to stage a little get-together at the University of Florida’s Performing Arts Center.
UF faculty have been very, very less than helpful; apparently the rules pretty much say that any old ham-and-egger who pays the service fee can use the facility to do whatever. I think they’re full of shit, considering that this gang has a nasty habit of stabbing people, beating people with big sticks, and running people over, but anyway.
Two different Facebook event pages have popped up for counter-organizing; this one was started by some rando who heard the bad news and jumped the gun, and this one is a mirror that’s actually being run by a student organization.

“Well documented white supremacist Richard Spencer will be speaking at the University of Florida on September 12. We will share informations and support any actions taken to not allow this event to take place. However, so long as this event is still scheduled, we will be coordinating rides from across the state to protest the event and not allow a repeat of the recent events from UVA to happen here at the University of Florida.”
Now, this here on the surface might just look like Little Richie Spencer and the gang are organizing another NPI circle-jerk, but it’s getting to be pretty big news amongst the brownshirts. Here is the archived /pol/ thread talking about it, which I gotta say is a gold mine, is absolutely slap-full of useful information, because these damnfools have never heard of opsec.

So, as y’all can see, the Legion of White Mediocrity has got their ears perked up and are spoiling for a good ol’ fashioned bloodbath. I’d rather not wait around for the local hoodlums to fly down their Yankee buddies and burn down my perfectly good piece-of-shit college town.
