I’m all for paying respect to the icons of racial/gender/LGBT equality, but why did you feel the need to diss the Founding Fathers?

Genocide: Noun, “the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation.“

Hitler committed genocide. Rwanda experienced a genocide. If you truly believe the folks who orchestrated the American Revolution committed genocide, I’ll need to ask for some sources. I said very clearly that I don’t approve of everything they’ve done, but “genocide”? No. That’s bull.

I just got so hung up on the Founding Fathers themselves I completely forgot about the indigenous peoples the fledgling nation soon moved against. My mind was in totally the wrong spot and you’re completely right, I apologize.
