thetwinlizards-deactivated20180: under that definition it is a voluntary choice - but guess what, under that definition, slavery is voluntary. a slave can decide to either remain subservient to their master or to be murdered (or at best disowned and left to starve). it's a "hard choice," but it's voluntary. capitalism is just a less authoritarian version of slavery in the end, but how much are you willing to bet that person is arbitrarily against slavery because of the fucking nonsense self-defeating "NAP"?
cont. in fact, i’m hard pressed to think of literally anything that isn’t a choice under that definition; it really goes to show that the “you always have a choice” crowd are giant victim blamers. it’s not just in capitalism, you can see it with the “if you don’t like trump leave america” crowd etc
