Four reminders for the FOURTH (get it) of July:

- Patriotism is a crock and a scam designed to bury class distinctions with an artificial nationalistic pride
- The “Founders” waged revolution for their own economic interests as colonial aristocrats and looked down on the common people
- There is no room to celebrate the American state as it exists today when it was built on the backs and with the blood of black slaves and Native people
- Fireworks are loud and scare my dog so please don’t set them off near where I live

Two final reminders

* Being a patriot for one day a year is fun and in that one day that is all that matters

* The fun police can come for me July 5th
