Tip for my trauma-friends. If you feel such deep discomfort or fear sleeping in a room because of ptsd that you cant sleep? Lay down with your head at the foot of the bed. It wont make it go away, but you’ll be able to actually sleep.
whenever i couldn’t manage my ptsd as i can now, i used to do this a lot! it worked for me on the worst days, n the reason might be different for everyone. for me, it put me closer to the door of my room so i could actually see if one of my abusers were actually there or not. i recommend trying it!
