Goddess forbid expanding your vocabulary, because a man introduced you the word, amiright?

But that doesn’t describe the phenomenon at hand. Ultracrepidarian just describes someone who speaks on issues they don’t understand. Mansplaining specifically refers to a phenomenon where men feel entitled to correct women on a subject that the women already understand as well or better than the man correcting them. It describes an intersection between male privilege and a lack of respect towards women, which ultracrepidarian doesn’t address.

This dude is the one refusing to expand HIS vocabulary tho? Like, mansplain would be under the umbrella, but ultracrepidarian does not accurately address the context. I accept the word ultracrepidarian and will fold it into my vocabulary, dude bro above is the one refusing to accept a word, yet he’s not being accused of some weird game of word rejection.
