kids definitely don’t know any better when they ask me questions about my gender in public but they’re not just blurting out random questions because they don’t have impulse control. they ask specific questions because adults constantly ask me the same thing so they just learn that it’s ok to ask me these things and you can’t blame them for it obviously (it’s definitely osmosis and not really anyone but society’s fault) but it’s not just “kids being kids” like no they don’t know that it’s inappropriate but they’re not asking these things because they don’t know any better, it’s just that they vocalize these things TO ME because they don’t know better.
adults are just as nosy it’s just that they might do it behind closed doors
