The definition of genderqueer includes both nonbinary and gender nonconforming people because it is defined as “someone who expresses their gender in an societally different way” however, I really don’t think that GNC non-lgbt people should be using the word, especially because it encompasses the Q slur. This is why the word nonbinary started being used (GQ has actually existed longer) with a stricter definition and has it’s on pride flag. That being said, GNC people still deserve pride and postitivity, as they do face discrimination and hate crimes, (especially GNC men), but if you aren’t LGBT+, please refrain from using the term “Genderqueer”. ~Mod Ignatius
