A lot of fascists are really pitiful people who are obviously just desperate and lonely, but sadly that doesn’t make them less dangerous or mean we can be any less harsh in our treatment of them.

Our communities are open to all people who are willing to give mutual respect. Sometimes that “mutual respect” bit is the deal breaker. 

Either way they ended up in a movement that glorifies the destruction of everything kind and gentle. The pursuit of the means to live by the destruction of any reason to continue doing so. 

You can lead a clown to ethical conduct and social betterment via participation in voluntary community systems, but you can’t make them drink.
