In the end, in order to redeem themselves the fascist needs to overcome their sense of elite entitlement and come to terms with the fact that they are not better than everyone else. They have to face that, but against this realization stands the ever more ingrained idea that the admit this is to admit being inferior to all others. 

“Equality” to their eyes is a naive notion and thus this binary idea of supremacy versus submission propels them forward in ever more desperation to prove their worth to themselves and their peers from which they can receive commendation and thus gain status as well as a sense of self-worth and identity.

I have heard the remark that the PUA community doesn’t even seem to enjoy sex. In the end I think it’s true. It’s just a matter of racking up another “notch” to show off to their PUA buddies in graphic re-tellings of their seduction… 

Ironically this results in a community of men finding comfort in their mutual sexual power fantasies, an extremely homoerotic affair that leads to them constantly needing to invent ever more homophobic rituals to “justify” this intimacy as purely heterosexual. (This is not to say they’re all “secretly gay”, simply that they are afraid of the intimate feelings they share with other men.)

Capitalism, masculinity, authority, etc have led them into dysfunctional ways to approach intimacy that twists it into a power narrative that ends up eventually alienating them from everyone. (queue Pink Floyd’s The Wall)

These drives, as pitiable as they are, propel the fascist to violence. What united them in identity is hate for the enemy (ironically, to the man of the manosphere, women are the enemy insofar as they are “keeping sex” from him), and so the highest status move is to attack the enemy.

Elliot Rodger is a manifestation of this. His manifesto overflows with ideas forged in the manosphere, but tinted with the outright slavery and genocide of women. But a man does not have to be as extreme to have a violent effect on the women around him. Any given manosphere site will have countless proud retellings and confessions of such violence.

In the end it all boils down to a single fact: the fascist wants to exercise malevolent power over their victims. Their motivations are based purely on the level of reward they receive from their peers.

We can argue with any number of self-contradictory justifications out of the fascist’s mouth and debunk them all and they still will not have budged an inch from their stance because the justification was always based on the desire and not the other way around.
