i can’t believe kingdom hearts is even a franchise that exists, let alone one that is as successful and ~deep~ as it is

like…this is a game where i am periodically subjected to, in no particular order:

- child death
- goofy going ‘gawrsh’
- the philosophy if what it means to have a heart
- mickey mouse straight up killing a young man with no heart with a keyblade
- the theme of ‘how to cope with the loss of a friend or family member’
- donald duck existing near me with that godawful voice
- an organisation of experiments-gone-wrong

who thought of this? who thought this would be a good idea? why did we all get involved in this?

#nothing can truly explain how jarring it is to be listening to a heartfelt and sobworthy monologue only to have it interrupted by #GAWRSH THAT SURE SOUNDS BAYUD SORA
