1. Slippery Slope Fallacy
   Insisting that the term “Nazi” doesn’t have a clear cut meaning and that the primary goals of Nazism (a right-wing authoritarian government and ethnic cleansing) are indistinguishable from the primary goals of any other right-wing group. Also works with the “free speech” argument that bashing fascists will lead to no one being allowed to speak about their opinions ever.
   
   
2. Argument From Personal Incredulity
   Claiming that Trump can’t be a fascist because they don’t think he’s a fascist, despite his right-wing populism, disapproval of free speech, scapegoating of an entire religion, blatant use of white supremacist rhetoric, advocacy for nationalism, etc.
   
   
3. Tu Quoque Fallacy
   Calling their opponent a “Nazi/fascist” despite their frequent complaints about how “everyone is being called a Nazi just for having different opinions”.
   
   
4. Victim Blaming
   Claiming that leftists and marginalized groups acting in self defense are to blame for the rise of Nazism. This excuses Nazis from any responsibility for supporting their ideology, similarly to how “the left got Trump elected” excuses Trump voters from culpability.

If I ever see an argument in favor of not punching nazis and/or resisting Trump that isn’t one of these, I’ll be amazed.
