I am very very very tired with horror games making mental illness the monster or whatever
like you get to the end or something and it turns out “you had psychosis/anxiety/depression/schizophrenia/some specific phobia etc all along and you’re actually in a mental asylum!!!” or just general demonizing of mental illness like
we get it. you’re scared of mental illness. its blatantly transparent how you make us the monsters/demons/murderers in everything
and its true for many of us our mental health issues make life extremely difficult. I’m not going to pretend it isn’t a struggle, and that we don’t have problems doing certain things in this able-designed society. But its not made any easier by so many forms of media making us out to be crazed murderers that tear apart children
and then you wonder why so many afraid of admitting to mental health issues? this is whyReblogging cause this annoys me
