okay so i was checking my transition fund while i read about the benefits of drinking milk while taking estrogen and i started considering ordering a binder to give to my friend on the anniversary of his coming out as a trans boy, and okay now cis people have stopped reading the trans army marches at noon tomorrow

what is our goal?

well me and my nonbinary friend were talking about pronouns, and we got onto the subject of dysphoria like we seem to every time we talk. in the end, we talked for hours about identity and expression and the concept of gender nonconformity and now there’s definitely no cis people reading we’re gonna grab a coffee and then start a revolution

will there be snacks provided?

that’s the thing, right? it’s sort of a transgender dichotomy. there’s no viable equivalent of a packer for transfeminine people unless you count like, tucking tape. but that doesn’t really do the same thing. and the hardest thing is finding a bra to fit a wide back size and small cup size- i suppose when i meet my transition goals though that’ll be fine. it’s not as though i don’t like my body, trans bodies deserve the same body positivity and okay now every cis person has scrolled past yes i’m baking a batch of sweet treats to bring to the Trans Riots

where should we meet up?

the rhetoric that trans people are “born in the wrong body” is harmful and transphobic, and was outdated even before it began. it is, in essence, insulting- one would not call a cis person’s body “wrong”- as well as exclusive and ignorant of trans people who don’t wish to/can’t physically transition, which is still an entirely valid way to be trans. it is better, in general, to use terms like “assigned male at birth” to describe a trans person’s body, but this is up to the individual trans person and you should be careful not to cross personal boundaries. ninety-nine percent of the time a trans person’s body is absolutely none of your business and now cis people have developed a blind spot in the shape of this post, we’re meeting in the courtyard of the Secret Trans Headquarters in Colorado
