You know who else is 1-2% of the world population?

Redheads.

Yet somehow it’s not all that hard to put a “fiery” redhead in almost every fucking thing. Why? Because they matter.

If asexuals made up their own country then, by population size, out of the 196 countries in the world, the Asexual Nation would rank number NINETEEN right after Turkey and would bump the DRC down to twenty.

That’s just how many of us there are. Our hypothetical country would have more people in it than 90% of the current countries in the world.

But we don’t matter?

Bullshit.

Representation matters.

We matter.

All 72 million of us.

So let’s not play this fucking game, ok?

People act like finding asexuals in our massive population is such a laborious task there’s no point giving us representation since we’re so invisible

I have met at least three other people who’ve confirmed they’re ace at uni, and I’ve known at least one other then me back home. I could easily have met other ace people without knowing

We exist and we’re more prevalent then you know. We deserve representation too.
