Backstory: The entire reason I bought a Misha auto this year was so I could get this tweet signed, and I even prepared what I wanted to say, because I knew that I’d freeze up if I didn’t. I edited my Twitter icon out of the screenshot since it’s a photo of him and I was embarrassed about it.

The actual story: As Misha was signing the tweet I said “the tweet on the top was actually my tweet from last year…” and then I got too nervous to say anything else, so I apologized and said that I couldn’t get the words out. So he asked me what my shirt said (I was wearing a shirt that had ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ on it, which can be seen in my photo op with him) and I said it was a shrug emoticon, then imitated the emoticon to show him. He said he’d never seen it before, I said I used it all the time. Then I was able to continue what I wanted to say, which was, “I know your reply was kind of a joke, but it meant a lot to me because I’m asexual.” And he just looked at me very sincerely and said, “it wasn’t a joke”. He high-fived me and then held onto my hand for a second, then I thanked him and left.
